ACE 2000 Alps stands for Austria Card's EMV 2000-compliant smart card product range. Based on Austria Card's ACOS EMV operating system, ACE 2000 Alps comprises a set of mandatory and optional EMV credit/debit functions in accordance to both MasterCard and Visa specifications. In addition to the EMV 2000 functionality, ACE offers an on-card ISO/IEC 7816-4 file system with comprehensive security mechanisms for implementation of add-on customer applications. The on-card file system support is of particular interest for loyalty applications that could be placed on an ACE card in addition to the EMV core functionality.

ACE-M 2000 Alps
Designed for MasterCard M/Chip 4 products. It supports the following specifications:

• "M/Chip Lite 4 according to M/Chip 4 Card Application Specifications for Debit and Credit", Version 1.1, September 2006 

ACE-V 2000 Alps
Designed for Visa EMV 2000 products. It supports the following specifications:

• "Visa Integrated Circuit Card Specification (VIS)", Version 1.4.0, October 2001, amended September 2005

ACE-L 2000 Alps
Our add-on customer loyalty functionality.

• ACE-L 2000 Alps can be combined either with ACE-V 2000 Alps or ACE-M 2000 Alps.
• It is designed according to the ISO/IEC 7816 family of standards.
