Austria Card is present at the Polish Market since the mid-nineties, when the Polish banks started to issue payment cards.

In 2002 Austria Card GmbH founded its subsidiary Austria Card Polska Sp. z o.o. with its seat in Warsaw for highest proximity to the customers.

Additionally, in 2005 a subsidiary R&D department with its seat in Krakow was set up to develop chip technology for both Polish and European Markets.

Austria Card Polska Sp. z o.o. is headed by Mr Krzysztof Kuźma.
